1. About these terms
Enjoy Tickets gift cards are issued by Enjoy Tickets Ltd, trading as Enjoy Tickets (company 16330135). These terms apply to everyone who buys, receives or uses one, together with our Terms of use and purchase.
2. Buying a gift card
- You choose an amount and a currency: pounds, euros or lei. There is no fee to buy a gift card: you pay exactly its value.
- You pay the same way as for tickets, on our secure checkout.
- The gift card comes by email with its own code, to you or to the person you are giving it to.
3. Using a gift card
- A gift card can be used on any event on Enjoy Tickets priced in the same currency as the card. A card in pounds works for events priced in pounds, and so on.
- Type the code at checkout, on the website, in our app, or in an organiser's or partner's shop that uses our checkout. It pays for the whole order: tickets, the booking or processing fee, and any extras or Flexible ticket you add.
- If the order costs more than the balance, you pay the rest by card. If it costs less, the rest stays on the gift card for next time.
- Gift cards cannot be used to buy other gift cards or fan resale tickets, or with ticket partners that sell through their own checkout.
4. The balance and the 5 year expiry
- A gift card lasts 5 years from the day it was paid for. The expiry date is in the gift card email. Any balance left after that date can no longer be spent.
- When you buy a gift card, Enjoy Tickets keeps the money until the card is spent. When it is spent on an event, the ticket price goes to the organiser as with any other order.
- The balance is credit to spend on Enjoy Tickets. It is not cash or a bank account, earns no interest, and cannot be exchanged for cash, except where these terms or the law say so.
5. Cancelling and refunds
- Changed your mind? You can cancel a gift card you bought within 14 days of buying it, as long as none of it has been spent. We refund you in full, to the way you paid. After 14 days we may still refund a card that is completely unused, at our discretion. Contact us with your order reference.
- If an order you paid for with a gift card is refunded, for example because the event is cancelled, the money goes back the way it came: to your bank card first, up to what it paid, and the rest onto the gift card. The card keeps its expiry date, unless it has already expired by then: in that case it is active again for 12 months from the day of the refund, so the money never lands on a dead card.
- Apart from this, gift cards cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.
6. Lost cards and keeping the code safe
Treat a gift card like cash: anyone who has the code can spend it. If you lose the email, or think someone else has the code, contact us straight away with the order reference or the email address it was bought with. If the balance has not been spent, we can usually move it to a new code.
7. Misuse
Gift cards may not be resold or offered for sale. We may cancel a gift card that was bought fraudulently or with a payment that was later reversed, and cancel orders paid with it.
8. Changes and the law that applies
We may change these terms, but a change never shortens the expiry date or reduces the balance of a gift card already bought. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you keep the consumer rights of the country where you live, as set out in our Terms.
